Viscone
The raw material of viscone is the beech tree. It is composed of cellulose just like cotton. Nearly no chemical changes occur in the structure of cellulose which becomes liquid during the production process of viscone. After it stiffens as filament, it remains as cellulose as well. With these properties, the structure of viscone shows a high degree of similarity to cotton.
