CARDED

Carded ring cotton yarns are a type of cotton yarn produced from shorter cotton fibre than those used in producing combed cotton yarn and that has not been combed. Carded ring yarns are of lesser quality in comparison to combed cotton yarn. These yarns have uneven, rough surfaces. They are uncombed cotton yarn produced from short cotton fibre. They are of lesser quality in comparison to combed cotton yarn. Their surfaces are less even than the fabric produced from carded yarn. They create a nubby, coarse and woolly fabric. They seem mat and dirty.
Carded ring yarns are used in knitting sports clothing fabrics, linens, denim (blue jean), threads, towels, furnishing fabric, home textiles and technical fabric.
